The Best of Jim Baen's Universe #2

Future Weapons
of War

I like to tell stories. Sometimes, they're fiction; other times, they're true. Stories help us understand the universe and our place in it, give us ways to express emotions that are difficult to let out otherwise, and entertain us. I aim most of all for the last: I want to entertain by telling a good story. I figure that if I can manage to do that, the rest will take care of itself.

I'm grateful whenever anyone's willing to read or listen to my stories, so thank you for considering my work and for dropping by this site.

Enough folks asked about getting their hands on some One Jump Ahead swag that we set up a Cafe Press store where you can do just that. You'll find all sorts of goodies, each of which is sporting the fine Steve Hickman cover. If you buy any of these things, you'll also be contributing, albeit indirectly, to charity. We mark up each item a flat two bucks. We then donate that two bucks to The Literacy Council.
